It is ironic that the causeway entrance to Mutton Island municipal waste treatment plant is characterised by a considerable pile of flotsam that was probably washed up on the tides. Look closer between the large boulders along the seashore and you will find a lot more unsightly rubbish.

Well done, great effort put into highlighting this growing problem in Galway. I feel though there is a lack of staff within the Council to clean all these areas.
