The photos below show the massive damage being caused by refuse to the parks, waterways & woods of Galway City. I was shocked to see the extent of the destruction caused by the debris & vandalism of 'bush drinking'. If this is allowed to continue, the combined efforts of communities, environmentalists, politicians & council staff over the last 10 yrs to create networks of urban Leisure zones & Wildlife Habitats will be terminally undermined. It is a problem that government & council are ignoring

Disgusting. The people who treat the land like this are the lowest of the low. When I was in Ireland years ago I noticed the enormous amount of litter everywhere. Sad to see not much has changed. Actually, judging from these pics it seems worse. Hope not.
Keep up the good work fighting this sort of behaviour. One highly motivated person can make a big difference.
